Juston Preble was a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate from Nevada in the 2016 election. He sought the Republican nomination but was defeated by Joe Heck in the primary. Preble's campaign emphasized national defense, energy independence, tax reform, reducing government spending, and tackling poverty through a robust economy and effective education. He also advocated for military modernization and reducing U.S. intervention overseas. Preble was a strong proponent of energy independence and 100% renewable energy sourcing, as well as simplifying the U.S. tax code.
