Herschel Walker is a former Hall of Fame professional football player who attended the University of Georgia, where he won the Heisman Trophy. He also represented the U.S. in the 1992 Olympics and owned two food-supply businesses. Walker served as chairman of the Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition after being appointed by former President Donald Trump in 2018. In 2022, he ran as the Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate to represent Georgia.
