Wesley Bell is a Democratic Party member-elect of the U.S. House, representing Missouri's 1st Congressional District. He won the general election on November 5, 2024, and will assume office on January 3, 2025. Prior to his congressional run, Bell served as the St. Louis County prosecuting attorney. He holds a law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and has worked as a public defender. In addition to his congressional candidacy, Bell also ran for U.S. Senate in 2024 but did not appear on the ballot for the Democratic primary in August.
