Senate / Republican / MarylandJohn Teichert is a retired U.S. Air Force brigadier general and Republican political figure. He ran for the U.S. Senate to represent Maryland in 2024 but did not appear on the ballot for the Republican primary. Teichert graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University. During his distinguished military career, he served as the Senior Defense Official in Iraq and the Assistant Deputy Undersecretary of the Air Force for International Affairs.
