“Carolyn Phippen, born in Ithaca, New York, ran for the U.S. Senate to represent Utah in 2024. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Utah and has worked as a policy advisor. Phippen has served as chair of the Federalism Committee for the Salt Lake County GOP and has been affiliated with several political organizations, including Utah Citizens for the Constitution and the Why I Love America Committee. Phippen lost in the Republican convention on April 27, 2024.”
