Demi Kouzounas was born in Saco, Maine. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Maine and a doctorate in dentistry from Tufts University. After her education, she served in the U.S. Army and later opened her own dental practice. Kouzounas ran for the U.S. Senate in 2024, representing Maine as a Republican, but lost in the general election.
