Senator Maggie Hassan, representing New Hampshire since 2016, is dedicated to bipartisan solutions on key issues like healthcare, combating the opioid crisis, workforce development, and cybersecurity. As the second woman in U.S. history to be both a Governor and Senator, she has worked to lower costs for families, expand broadband access, and address climate change. Her legislative accomplishments include stopping surprise medical billing and enhancing U.S. cybersecurity. Inspired by her son Ben, who has severe disabilities, Senator Hassan has championed inclusion and opportunity throughout her career. She holds degrees from Brown University and Northeastern School of Law and resides in New Hampshire with her husband, Tom.
